2008 Central Vermont Friends of NRA Raffle Winner

First of Six Drawings

The Central Vermont Friends of NRA Banquet Committee pulled the first in its six-drawing raffle, and winners were Steve and Tyler Bigras. They selected the Springfield Armory M1A (Standard) as their prize.

The M1A in the civilian version of the M-14, which is highly sought by our troops in Afghanistan.

Recently Charles Ferry of the Central Vermont Friends of NRA presented Steve Bigras with his rifle. Charles, also presented Steve with a one year membership in the Vermont State Rifle & Pistol Association (VSRPA) and a pass for a VSRPA conducted rifle clinic. Steve and Tyler remain eligible to win in the remaining drawings and every month in the 150 ticket will raffle shall their selection of the three gun prizes or $1,000.00. The profits from the banquets support shooting activities all over Vermont. With a special emphasis on youth and women's shooting events.
