2009 Legislative Mixer The federation held it annual legislative mixer at the Capital Plaza in Montpelier on Tuesday night, Numerous legislators and members of the shooting and outdoors sports community discussed important issues and had a good time. Speaker of the House Shap Smith and Senate President Peter Shumlin were among the many legislators present. All of the legislators asked and answered questions for our folks. Group Photo Rep. Steve Adams and Senator Alice Nitka, the Vermont Legislative Sportsmen's Caucus leaders of their respective house spoke with many of the representatives of clubs from around the state.
