Federation Recognizes Vermont Game Warden of the Year

Vermont Fish & Game Warden Kim Klein was honored by Operation Game Thief in recognition of his selection as Vermont State Game Warden of The Year.

In a May 4th public ceremony Game Warden Klein was presented with a Hunter Appreciation Day framed set of wild game postcards by Coordinator of Operation Game Thief, Bill Leipold. The event took place at the Chelsea Fish & Game Club.

Operation Game Thief is a nonprofit joint project of the Vermont Federation of Sportsmen's Clubs and the Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department. Operation Game Thief pays rewards to individuals who provide tips that lead to arrests or citations, whether or not there is a successful prosecution.

Among those in attendance were officers, directors of the Federation, and delegates of the Federation member clubs.

The Federation provided sandwiches, drinks and a cake for the event.
